Wooden Vessels is a dungeon synth project led by Aveline and based in Minnesota, USA. Wooden Vessels is part of the Great Lakes Dungeon Synth collective.
Aveline’s Cave Bird Records also hosts three other projects. An atmospheric black metal project called awren, a funeral doom project called Gloomthread, and an ambient guitar project called chrysanthemum.

Cave Bird Records is on Youtube! For now one song will be uploaded each week. In the future there may be more content. This is my first time exploring video editing, so it’s a slow process.
I’m leading another Dungeon Shamble challenge that runs from May 1 through May 31. Would love to hear your interpretation.
Kaptain Carbon led a compilation where each artist submitted a song based on a character. Together with Fenmoss an OSE game based on the compilation was created. Each character has its own stat block. Check out the compilation. The game will release later this year through Fantasy Audio Magazine.

The Dungeon Synth Guide & Resources site is live! It’s geared towards newer community members, but Kaptain Carbon and I have added all sorts of stuff to it, including a pretty deep history that includes ‘Proto DS.’
